Question by yo: can you spearfish off la jolla cove or any beaches in san diego?
Hello everybody im interested in spear fishing and
I was wondering if you could spear fish anywhere in san diego ca (not wildlife preserves)and also if you could just spear fish off the shore and if you need some kind of permit or class expirience.Please reply and tell me if there is any cheap websites for spearguns thanks.

Yes, and here are some links to give you more information on spear fishing in the area. I also included a link to a good online source for a good beginner’s spear gun. What I’d suggest though is that you stop into some of the dive and tackle shops mentioned on the second link and see what they have for you.
